Aproape toate terenurile/simulatoarele au anunțat oficial că își suspendă activitatea pe fondul situației cu noul virus #Covid19. Situația este una critică pentru jocul de golf din România și lucrurile din păcate nu se opresc la o suspendare a activității, unele cluburi și-au anunțat deja membrii, că se închid definitiv.

Clubul cu cei mai mulți abonați din România ( peste 120 ) a scos la vânzare simulatoarele TrackMan dar și putting greenul artificial pe care îl avea în dotare. Totuși, administratorul ChampDu Golf – Adrian Sasu – a scris pe grupul de whattsup a membrilor RGA, faptul ca după ce se termină această situație intenționează să re-investească în pasiunea lui pentru jocul de golf.

O veste extrem de tristă pentru comunitatea golferilor din Cluj. Primul simulator de golf din Transilvania, InTo Golf – deschis acum un an, se închide definitiv conform anunțului postat pe grupul membrilor.
Unul dintre simulatoare a fost deja vândut dar unii jucători au anunțat că își doresc păstrarea celui de-al doilea simulator la Cluj Napoca ceea ce ar fi minunat.

Mai bine de doi ani și jumătate m-am ocupat personal de administrare, întreținere, organizare concursuri ( am fost cam de toate, inclusiv green-keeper ) dar iată că a venit momentul trist în care trebuie să mă despart de acest capitol. Am vrut să cunosc „secretele” unui teren, le-am aflat, ba chiar mai mult am adus terenul la o stare la care nici nu visam. Cu siguranță o să mai scriu aici pe blog despre acest subiect.
Nu este un anunț oficial de închidere, proprietarul/deținătorul au transmis că vor continua să întrețină terenul de golf. Din păcate însă, experiența din anii trecuți nu susțin această declarație și sper din tot sufletul să mă înșel.

Vreau să mulțumesc frumos celor care au avut încredere în mine, colegilor de club, jucătorilor care au participat la concursurile organizate la KingsLand Golf Club și mai ales lui Jimborean Cristian – un greenkeeper pasionat și devotat care m-a ajutat enorm de mult cu sfaturi utile și valoroase, fără de care nu ajungeam la rezultatele de mai sus.
