Cea de-a unsprezecea ediţie a Cupei Elis a avut loc sambata, 31 august, pe cel mai mare teren din Romania, Theodora Golf din Teleac, jud Alba.. La start s-au prezentat 76 de jucatori, care au concurat pe o căldură toridă, pentru trei categorii de premii la barbați, două categorii la femei, seniori și două premii speciale ( Longest Drive și Nearest to Pin )
Prima ediţie a turneului Elis a fost în 2007, pe terenul Paul Tomiţă, de la Pianu de Jos. Anul acesta a avut loc cea de-a unsprezecea ediţie, Cupa Elis fiind unul dintre turneele cele mai longevive din Romania.
“După ce golful a devenit un hobby personal, m-am gândit că un turneu ar fi o idee bună chiar şi pentru business, cei mai mulţi dintre adepții acestui sport fiind oameni de afaceri.
Este o ocazie excelentă atât pentru a practica un sport care ne pasionează cât şi pentru a socializa. Multe prietenii s-au legat în timp ce împărtășeam povestiri la “Gaura 4” sau în timp ce parcurgeam traseul pentru PAR 4.
Probabil, însa, primul motiv pentru care iubim acest sport este că ne ajută să devenim mai buni. Golful este un sport pentru minte, un sport care te ajută să îți imbunătățești două calități absolut necesare în viața de zi cu zi: coordonarea si concentrarea.
Fiecare lovitură este unică, iar odată ce simți bucuria unei lovituri reușite, nu mai poți renunța la acest sport. “ a declarant Emil Gota, directorul general Elis Pavaje.
Ziua s-a încheiat cu un eveniment într-un cadru de exceptie la restaurantul The View, invitații fiind răsfățați cu bucate și băuturi alese și un program artistic oferit de trupa City Dust, din Cluj Napoca.
